Our Team

Our amazing team of pro-life volunteers are committed to helping the cause of ending abortion offering real support for women facing unexpected pregnancies. 

Utilizing the Sidewalk Advocates for Life approach, we differ from other anti-abortionists. Materials and events for GLOW 4 Babies are to be non-offensive and non-confrontational, to maintain an atmosphere of unity rather than fostering responses of pain or anger.  

We have created partnerships with local nonprofit

 pro-life organizations that offer medical, material,  physical and emotional support. Our network of providers offers a mother who chooses life, support years after her child is born.

Ann Scalia, founder of GLOW 4 Babies, has shared God’s call to her heart to pro-actively work against abortion and for families in Batavia. Following the passage of New York’s “Reproductive Health Act” Mrs. Scalia along with many others found Holy inspiration to stand up and seek an end to abortion once and for all. Ann’s inspiration came in the form of a vivid and reoccurring dream that she was holding onto numerous precious infants each night. Upon reflection of the dream she realized the children clutching to her needed protection from our perverse laws now established in New York State.

 Ann admittedly had never been an active member of the Pro-Life or Abortion Abolitionist movement and although she considered herself a Pro-Life Christian the current state of affairs had been a wake up call for her.

Mrs. Scalia stresses a need to demonstrate respect for everyone, whether or not they share the same views, in order to properly represent our organizations' love

 and unity in Christ.  

Following the passage of New York’s “Reproductive Health Act” enacted on January 22, 2019, that expanded the legality of late term abortion in the state, Christian citizens from Batavia and the surrounding area began speaking out and standing in opposition to abortion with a renewed vigor and sense of urgency.  After establishing and attending several anti-abortion events during the winter of 2019 a group of core members decided they would organize their efforts to save our babies.

Our vision is to make connections in the community to not only save our babies but to win souls for the kingdom of Jesus Christ.

 We have a need for volunteers to organize and attend events, establish strongholds in educational institutions, raise funds for pregnancy center needs and raise awareness about the facts of abortion and the options available.
